Terms and conditions

The rules that apply when you buy from us. Written to be read, not to be skipped.

Who we are

This site is operated by Desor Home Fragrance, a business registered in Nigeria. Contact: info@desor.com.ng, 0812 725 9823.

[Registered company name, RC number and registered address to be inserted]

Orders

Placing an order is an offer to buy. A contract forms when we send you an order confirmation. If we cannot fulfil an order — because an item is out of stock, or a price was listed in error — we will tell you and refund you in full.

Prices and payment

All prices are in Nigerian naira and include VAT where applicable. Delivery is charged separately and shown before you pay. Payment is processed by Paystack; we do not store your card details at any point.

We reserve the right to change prices, but never after you have placed an order.

Products

These are handmade goods. Small variations in colour, fill level and finish between batches are normal and are not defects. Photography is representative; the shade of a wax or a glass may differ slightly from your screen.

Safe use

Never leave a burning candle unattended, and keep candles and diffusers away from children, pets, fabrics and draughts. Diffuser oil and room spray are for room use only — not for skin, not for ingestion, and not to be sprayed directly onto furnishings or animals. Keep out of reach of children. We are not liable for damage or injury arising from use contrary to these instructions or the instructions supplied with the product.

Liability

Our liability in connection with any product is limited to the price you paid for it. Nothing in these terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot lawfully be limited.

Intellectual property

The Desor name, our fragrance names, packaging, photography and site content belong to us. Please do not reproduce them commercially without asking.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, and disputes fall to the courts of Lagos State. We would much rather sort things out over WhatsApp first.

This is a well-drafted starting point, not legal advice. Have a Nigerian commercial lawyer review it before it goes live, and insert your RC number and registered address.
